Canon Collins Conferencing in Cape Town

The recent Canon Collins Trust Scholars Conference held in Cape Town at Webber Wentzels fantastic conferencing facilities at the Cape Town Convention Centre was a resounding success with a huge turn out of key students and Alumnae.

The over arching theme “Challenging Boundaries. Claiming Rights” was an on point one with fascinating topics and presentations to bring home key messages around exploring of conceptual, spatial, educational and personal boundaries impact in academic, professional and personal spheres.

Esteemed speakers included Dewa Mavhinga, Director of Human rights Watch, Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates, Lawson Naidoo – Council for the Advancement of SA Constitution and of course the extremely well received Prof. Thuli Madonsela now of the University of Stellenbosch.
